From the very beginning, our vision has been to produce honest wine in harmony with nature, and reflecting the potential of the terroir of the Vagonj valley.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe in the concept that wine is produced in the vineyard, which means that all our processes take place in an environmentally responsible way.
This avoids the use of herbicides and pesticides and therefore requires that all development and maintenance work be carried out manually, or if access is possible, with a small vineyard tractor.
It also means caring for bees, birds and other creatures on our ground, as they all contribute in some way to the health of our vineyards and the quality of our wines.
Sheep from the island regularly graze grass among the vines ensuring the optimal natural weed control and the best natural fertilization. The effect is to recycle nutrients from weeds and grasses while improving the soil microbiology in the vineyard.
